The Eurovision Song Contest 2025

 The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 concluded on May 17 in Basel, Switzerland , with Austraia's JJ clinching victory with his operatic -pop ballad "Wasted Love". JJ , a 24- year -old  countertenor whose real name is Johannes Pietsch , secured Austria's first Eurovision win  since 2014 , amassing a total of 436 points -258 from the jury and 178 from the public vote.

Israel's Yuval Raphael,performing " New Day Will Rise ," won the public vote with 297 points but received only 60 points from the juries ,placing her second overall with  357 ponts. Estonia's Tommy Cash secured third place with his aong "Espresso Macchiato," earning 356 points.

The contest was marked by controversy surrounding Israel's participation amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

Broadcasters from several countries including Finland ,Spain,Ireland the Netherlands , and Ice land , raised concerns about the integrity of the voting system ,citing organized public campaigns encouraging multiple votes for Israel. Austria's JJ and over 70 former Eurovision participants from future contest due to its military actions in Gaza.

Other notable results include Sweden's KAJ finishing fourth with " Bara Bada Bastu" (321 point),and Italy's Lucio Corsi placing fifth with " Volevo essere un duro " ( 256 points). Spain's Melody despite high expectations ,ended up 24 th with 37 points. The UK' Entry, Remember Monday,received zero points from the public vote ,finishing 19 th overall.

RBI REPO may expected to cut again, big relief for home loan

 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is preparing to cut interest rates once again. This news will bring great relief to crores of people who have taken loans. This year RBI has already reduced the repo rate twice 25 basis points in February.  And against 25 basis points in April. Due to this , the repo rate which was 6.5% at the begining of the year has now come down to 6% .  If the central bank cuts it by 25 basis points once against in june , it will come down to 5.75% , which can reduce your EMI even further. According to Economist and treasury heads of banks, a large number of experts believe that RBI may announce a cut of 0.25% i.e 25 basis points in the repo rate on june 6. This cut will directly affect the interest rates of your loan, which will reduce the burden of EMI.  Following the death of pope francis on april 21 2025, at the age of 88, the catholic church preparing for conclave to elect his successor. The conclave  is expected to commence between May 5 to May 10 adhering to the tradition of begging within 15 to 20 days after the papal seats becomes vacant.
