DPIIT signs MoU with HDFC Capital Advisors

 The Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) , Ministry of Commerce and Industry , signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HDFC Capital Advisors Limited to foster innovation and support startups in the affordable housing and PropTech sectors. This strategic Collaboration reinforces DPIIT's commitment to building an inclusive , innovation - driven startup eco system aligned with the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat and viksit Bharat @2047.

A key element of the partnership is the H@ART Programme , an initiative launched by HDFC Capital to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the residential real estate development cycle. The program aims to facilitate growth oppy through linkages with the affordable housing developer ecosystem, strategic investments in emerging PropTech companies , and mentorship in collaboration with accelerators, academic institutions, and investors.

Joint Secretary, DPIIT,Shri Sanjiv , underlined the significance of engaging with key industry stakeholders such as HDFC Capital Advisors Limited to foster innovation and scale in India's evolving startup landscape.

The partnership marks another milestone in DPIIT's ongoing efforts to catalyze public private collaboration for a resilient , self -sustaining , and forward - looking innovation ecosystem.

RBI REPO may expected to cut again, big relief for home loan

 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is preparing to cut interest rates once again. This news will bring great relief to crores of people who have taken loans. This year RBI has already reduced the repo rate twice 25 basis points in February.  And against 25 basis points in April. Due to this , the repo rate which was 6.5% at the begining of the year has now come down to 6% .  If the central bank cuts it by 25 basis points once against in june , it will come down to 5.75% , which can reduce your EMI even further. According to Economist and treasury heads of banks, a large number of experts believe that RBI may announce a cut of 0.25% i.e 25 basis points in the repo rate on june 6. This cut will directly affect the interest rates of your loan, which will reduce the burden of EMI.  Following the death of pope francis on april 21 2025, at the age of 88, the catholic church preparing for conclave to elect his successor. The conclave  is expected to commence between May 5 to May 10 adhering to the tradition of begging within 15 to 20 days after the papal seats becomes vacant. The Conclave Process  The conclave will be held in the sistine chapel , which has been closed to the public in preperation for the event. A total of 135 cardinals under the age of 80 are eligible to vote, exceeding the traditional maximum 120 electros. To be elected pope, a candidate must receive a two third majority vote.
