A Reddit user named agent 8923 has spotted Google lens in assistant on his one plus 5 in the UK. Replying to the post, several other OnePlus users have also found this new feature on their devices which include one plus 3 and 3T.
On the other one plus forums , OnePlus 5T owners have also acknowledged this feature bon their respective devices.
The photos posted by the Rabbit user showcase the lens icon in the bottom corner of the Google Assistant interface.
Tapping the lens icon launches the primary camera application and start the usual process of visual analysis.
The camera viewer then identifies the item which is being scanned visualized and then starts giving relevant information about the identified object.
